Crash, one of the largest motorsport sites in the world, is looking for a Head of Content.
Attracting almost 2m users per month, Crash is at the forefront of all things motorsport. The role itself is very wide ranging, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, managing the content team (5) to co-ordinate digital output, including video, social and newsletters. This will involve overseeing content creation and updating strategies, SEO optimisation and constant monitoring of rankings. And, of course, analytics will be your middle name.
The website continues to grow at pace, and you’ll be expected to play a pivotal role in developing and executing the strategy for continued growth. You’ll act as brand guardian to ensure that all output is suitable, and work with the commercial teams to optimise monetisation of the site.
You’ll be a proven content team leader and an experienced online journalist already working at editor, deputy editor or section head level and you’ll have a passion for producing user-focused content that’s perfectly optimised for maximum visibility in search.
Website growth and optimisation experience is more important than a knowledge of motorsport – although an understanding of Motorsport is preferable.
If you have experience of working on or running multi-language sites that would be deemed as a big advantage.
To apply please submit your C.V and covering letter explaining why this is the right role for you to William@crash.net
